Owen in Scarborough. Wilfred Owen spent six of the last twelve months of his short life in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. My research explores how Owen interacted with the people, spaces and places he found in Scarborough in 1917/1918 and how these elements influenced and formed both Owen as a person and his emerging creative practice as a poet. I use psycho-geography, photography, sound, video and archaeological observation as part of my research and responses to Owen in Scarborough (2006 onwards).
